Produced by horizontal centrifugal casting, alloy Indefinite Chilled (ICDP) rolls provide a working shell containing fine, uniformly dispersed interdendritic graphite alongside iron carbides in a pearlitic/bainitic matrix, metallurgical-bonded to a ductile iron core. This configuration provides the necessary surface finish retention and resistance to thermal shock in hot strip and section finishing stands.
